Hi all,
I am wondering for some time what the foresight program exactly does. Because i manage a linux server for a clan. We cannot run foresight on it because it is a windows program and there is no source code available for as far as i now.
The basic things like ban & high ping kick are clear for me. As far as i have investigated it, foresight set some vars too. Mods like Mefy-freezetag use those. I would like to have a little linux program that does the same thing for logging mefy-freezetag melts.
I found multiple people on the internet claiming that they made a linux admin mods or something but i never found something that really works.
If i had the time motivation i would make my own. But spearhead is running on they end and i don't want to spend many hours on something that wont be used. So if someone have some docs or other stuff about foresight perhaps source code i would be very happy.
Kind regards,
Pimmetje |

| Running foresight on a linux works fine, but the tool foresight not. You need windows machine to keep it running and to keep the server checked. I would like to run it on the dedicated server itself. Because then there no need to leave a windows machine running. |

| Unfortunately, there is no Linux version for the admin side of running the interface tool. You will need to have a windows machine or have someone on your clan run it on theirs. |

I don't know if someone Reverse engineered the thing or even better have source code of it so we could make a linux cmdline version. |

Lo all,
I wholeheartedly support what pimmetje says. A Linux version of the tool would be a great asset. Any chance that this can be implemented? Is there source code? what programming language?
Perhaps we can join forces and create a linux version :-)
Pimmetje, if you read this, can you contact my MSN?
